Accomplished artists from all over the country have a once in a lifetime opportunity to earn a career defining exhibit at a renowned art museum and a cash prize. In this unprecedented competition 7 artists, chosen from thousands who applied, and who’s disciplines range from sculpting to painting to mix media, will create 6 significant commissions across the course of the series. These pieces will reveal the artists big ideas about the world around them, and will be judged by respected art world insiders, led by the director of the museum. Without a weekly elimination, each artist will be judged on their full body of work. At the end of competition only one artist will be awarded that career defining prize.
