Each episode shows the real life consequences of teen pregnancy and how young mothers and fathers deal with the challenges associated with this life path. 16 & Pregnant gives real young people the opportunity to tell their own stories, from their own voices such as the challenges pregnant teens face, including marriage, attending school, adoption, dealing with gossip, and showing how new parents cope with taking care of their infants and balancing adult responsibilities with teenage life.
